Our vision: to love; to grow; to pray; to serve.

The Manningtree Benefice is changing!

We have become a new group of three churches, representing the communities of Bradfield, Lawford, Manningtree and Mistley. We have a new name - Cross Reach Churches - and will soon have a new website, too.

In the meantime, this site will remain up, as will our Facebook pages.

Welcome to the Cross Reach Churches

We are a group of churches, and a community of people who are united in our desire to follow Jesus Christ, and to be a blessing to our local communities here in beautiful North Essex. We try to be a community who prays together, who love each other and the world, who offer ourselves in service, and who grow in our relationship with Jesus. We get this stuff wrong all the time, of course, but we believe that God is loving, and forgives us when we mess up. We love meeting new people, so why not join us?

We meet at the following times:

Bradfield meets at 9:30 every Sunday.
At this service you can expect worship which usually includes words from a book and music played on the organ.

Mistley meets at 10:15 every Sunday.
This service usually involves robes and the organ, but we also have Celtic style worship occasionally too.

Lawford meets at 11:00 every Sunday.
This is a very relaxed service, with music usually led by a guitarist or a music band. We have children's work at Lawford every week, too.

All our services are designed to be welcoming, and the lovely people you'll meet when you arrive are welcoming too! We hope you might join us at one of the churches soon.
