Our vision: to love; to grow; to pray; to serve.

Welcome to the Manningtree Benefice Website

We are a community of people who are united in our desire to follow Jesus Christ. We gather to worship together regularly online (on our YouTube channel here). When we are able, we meet in-person too, in our two buildings in beautiful North Essex.

This has been an incredibly challenging year for all of us, and we have tried to face these challenges head on.

We began meeting on YouTube back in March 2020, when it became obvious we could no longer meet physically, and it's wonderful that a new and vibrant group of people has begun to grow around these online gatherings. We also have a telephone service for those without internet access (01206 489 686), and our pastoral team have been hard at work staying in touch with people throughout the year. Despite the challenges, we know that God is at work.

Because of the rising number of virus cases in Essex, and due to us being in Tier 4, we have taken the decision that our in-person services will be suspended until further notice.

You are very welcome to join us online or on the phone - and if you wish to, you can contact us using the details below.

In the midst of the winter, at the end of a dark year, we know that Christ's light shines. This Christmas, we pray that you might know him with you. Happy Christmas to you all.
