Our vision: to love; to grow; to pray; to serve.

The Manningtree Benefice is changing!

We have become a new group of three churches, representing the communities of Bradfield, Lawford, Manningtree and Mistley. We have a new name - Cross Reach Churches - and will soon have a new website, too.

In the meantime, this site will remain up, as will our Facebook pages.

A vision for the future.

We are currently in the process of discovering the vision that God has for us as churches here in Bradfield, Lawford, Manningtree and Mistley.

One stream of the vision is praying: we will become more prayerful, and we expect God to be at work among us, transforming us and our wider communities.

One stream of the vision is that we will become more focussed on loving one another, and we expect our actions and behaviour to reflect this.

One stream of our vision is growing: we will become more focussed on witness, and we expect our churches to grow.

One stream of the vision is serving: we will become more generous with our time, money, and efforts, both within our churches and towards our wider communities.

You can download a PDF file of the vision as it currently stands by clicking on one of these links: the short, easier to read, version is here, and the much longer, more fully described, version is here.
